With this project we were a team of 4 students: Andreas Horstmann, Simon Zolg, Katharina Schmidt and I. Us transferred task of project was to develop a "Multimedia Information CD for Pupils". My field covered all software development ranges, as layout-technical considerations and/or conversions and organization of the contents of that CD. To it belonged the production from Javascript programs to prompting, audio playback and inquiry techniques for installed software, HTML template development with Dreamweaver, the hybrid CD production and the co-operation at execution of interviews with altogether 24 persons (professors, student,…). In the context of Javascript program development altogether 13 programs with an extent of altogether approx. 1500 code lines are produced that with all Netscape and Internet Explorer nrowser versions under Windows, Unix and Macintosh are compatible. With contents it concerned different kinds of prompting, responding representations with fading-effects, playback and playback logic for sound files and the automatic recognition of installed browser and necessary auxiliary components. Altogether the hybrid CD covered:
- approx. 200 responding HTML sides
- For all 3 operating systems (Linux, Mac, Windows) browser and Flash plug-ins as installation file
- 40 sounds
- numerous Flash animations
