Responsible person: Stephan Trahasch Caring professor: Professor Dr. Thomas Ottmann Creation time area: 13.11.2003 - 13.05.2004 Note: 1,5 Abstract The work is concerned with the development and realization of a assessment system for the generation, execution and evaluation of tasks within the range of algorithms and data structures. Requirements are addressed at the system, psychological factors, different tutortypes, possible technological realizations and categories by assessment systems are discussed. The more exact view of some existing assessment systems permits a comparison with the requirements of the system that should be developed. Furthermore important concepts are discussed, which became necessary for the production of the system. Individual important details of the Java implementation are picked out, in order to describe the internal program structure more near. The strengths and the weaknesses of the developed system are prepared and some expandabilities are listed.
